Groundskeeper

Join the YMCA of Indiana County team this summer and help keep our outdoor spaces safe, clean, and welcoming! As a Seasonal Groundskeeper, you’ll focus on maintaining the property through mowing, landscaping, and general upkeep. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and independently.

• Mow grass and maintain outdoor grounds

• Perform landscaping tasks such as trimming, edging, and general upkeep

• Ensure outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained

• Assist with basic indoor maintenance tasks as needed

• Report maintenance or safety concerns to facilities staff

• Work independently while supporting overall facility operations

• Prior landscaping or groundskeeping experience required

• Ability to safely operate lawn care equipment

• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions

• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

• Ability to obtain PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI clearances prior to hire

• Proof of PA Mandated Reporter Training required

• CPR/First Aid/AED certification required within 30 days of hire (training available)
