Group Financial Controller

We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Group Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the the Director of Finance, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations, driving performance, and supporting our ambitious growth plans.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the day-to-day financial operations, including management & financial reporting, plus regulatory compliance.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team, providing leadership and support.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with our growth objectives — spotting opportunities for cost optimization and revenue generation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and support decision-making.
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Provide strategic financial insights and analysis for key business decisions.
• Build and maintain relationships with auditors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial performance.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and bring best practices into the business.

Requirements

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA, ACCA, CPA, CMA preferred).
• 3+ years of proven senior financial management experience (tech scale-up experience is a big plus).
• Fluency in Arabic & English, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership with a track record of managing teams and delivering results.
• Deep understanding of FP&A, accounting, cost control, and taxation.
• Analytical mindset — able to turn complex data into actionable insights.
• Strategic thinker with a growth-oriented mindset and passion for innovation.
• Proficiency in financial management software & advanced Excel skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
