Job Purpose:
Drive the Performance and Organisation Effectiveness of DP World through the design and implementation of initiatives and programmes including organisation design; strategic manpower planning and analytics; shared services; performance management, and drive continuous improvements by providing specialist advice as part of the Group People Performance & Productivity center of expertise.
Key Accountabilities:
Lead the development and implementation of the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) process, ensuring alignment with our business priorities and financial objectives. Partner with People and Finance functions across the organisation to deliver an integrated, forward-looking manpower plan.
- Oversee our company-wide manpower planning cycle through regular stakeholder engagement, needs assessment, data-driven analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Continuously enhance SWP strategies in line with global Performance & Productivity frameworks, ensuring agility and scalability.
Provide advanced workforce analytics and benchmarking to the Functions to validate headcount sizing, better anticipate future skills requirements, address business challenges, and review organization effectiveness.
Design and oversee the HR Operating Model and OD principles, in collaboration with relevant Group and Regional People experts, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and accountability.
- Define and maintain organisational design standards, including span of control and layering principles.
- Conduct periodic reviews of organisational structures and recommend changes that streamline governance and decision-making processes, and improve effectiveness.
Coordinate group-wide transformation initiatives, and provide guidance and oversight to regional transformation projects — including centralisation, outsourcing, and operating model redesign.
Expand and oversee the Global HR Shared Services (GSC HR) strategy and plan, in collaboration with GSC Management and relevant Group and Regional People experts, ensuring it delivers high-quality, efficient, and scalable services
- Define the scope, governance framework and service levels for HR Shared Services, in coordination with Regions HR teams.
- Monitor that GSC HR operations are effective, reliable, and cost-efficient, leveraging technology, process optimization, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Partner with business and HR leaders to identify evolving needs, implement innovative solutions, and adapt service delivery to evolving workforce and organisational priorities.
- Drive and continuously improve Global Performance Management of DP World
- Define and oversee implementation of DP World’s global performance management process and systems
- Reviews organizational goals and strategy to ensure relevant and consistent organizational outcomes
- Identifies and manages risks, and provides ongoing support to ensure smooth and effective use of performance management systems and process
- Analyses and reports on performance management results and measurements, and leads process improvements.
- Develop regular/ad hoc management reports, including organisation charts, manpower summaries, movement, analysis, demographics, for all stakeholders
- Collaborate with Regional People teams and other Group Functions including but not limited to Finance and Technology, to deliver performance and org. effectiveness programmes.
- Responsible for the management and leadership of an engaged team, promoting collaboration and ensuring that each is developed and evaluated against clear and aligned goals.
- Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably with a Business, Human Resources or related background
A minimum of 10 to 15 years of organisation design and workforce planning experience at a similar level in a multinational company.
Process improvement skills are highly desirable.
Proven experience designing and successfully implementing complex and multijurisdictional job human capital programmes
Understanding of Container Terminal business process will be a distinct advantage
Consultancy experience is preferred
Practical and ‘hands on’ experience successfully implementing specific human capital productivity programmes.
Excellent computer skills including advance use of MS Excel.
