We are looking for a Growth Marketing Lead to own and accelerate performance for a direct-to-consumer (D2C) business. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role focused on acquisition, conversion, retention, and content-led engagement. You will take full accountability for driving traffic, improving website conversions, and nurturing repeat customer behavior using data-driven strategies across organic, paid, and lifecycle channels.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced D2C or consumer internet environment and has demonstrable experience scaling performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Funnel Ownership



End-to-end responsibility for the growth funnel: traffic → engagement → enquiry/booking → repeat conversions.

Build monthly growth plans with clear KPIs around sessions, conversion rates, lead quality, CAC (if paid media is deployed), and repeat purchase behavior.

Identify friction points in the user journey and prioritize optimization initiatives.


  • Acquisition & Traffic Growth



Drive organic traffic via SEO content, landing pages, guides, and FAQs.

Lead social media initiatives to generate website traffic, including short-form content, reels, UGC, and influencer collaborations.

Partner with agencies or in-house teams for paid campaigns when required (search, social, remarketing).

Explore partnership and affiliate channels to drive new users and qualified leads.


  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)



Map and optimize user journeys from landing to enquiry/booking.

Prioritize and execute A/B tests, UX improvements, and funnel optimizations including CTAs, forms, flows, trust signals, pricing, and offers.

Leverage behavioral analytics tools to identify drop-offs and improve conversion efficiency.


  • Retention & Lifecycle Marketing



Build and implement lead and customer retention strategies, including onboarding, nurture, abandonment, and win-back journeys.

Define user cohorts for personalized messaging and remarketing.

Execute campaigns across CRM channels such as email, WhatsApp, push notifications, or app notifications.


  • Content & Brand Engagement



Develop content strategies aligned with growth goals (blogs, guides, FAQs, service pages, social content).

Maintain an always-on social content calendar that drives engagement, traffic, and conversions—not just reach.

Collaborate with creative teams to ensure content aligns with funnel and brand objectives.


  • Analytics & Reporting



Own tracking, dashboards, and weekly reporting for traffic sources, funnel performance, CAC, ROI, and cohort analysis.

Partner with product and tech teams to ensure accurate event tracking, attribution, and measurement.

Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on analytics to drive continuous improvement.

Candidate Profile
Must-Have
Proven experience driving growth for D2C or consumer internet businesses.

Strong understanding of digital funnels, CRO, analytics, and lifecycle marketing.

Hands-on execution capability and a results-driven mindset.

Experience with retention, remarketing, and cohort-based strategies.

Nice-to-Have
Experience scaling growth from early stage (0→1) or growth stage (1→10).

Exposure to subscription, app-based, ecommerce, or retention-led businesses.

Hands-on experience with performance marketing, even if managed via agencies.

Tools & Platforms (Preferred)
Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console

Microsoft Clarity or Hotjar

Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads

CRM tools: WebEngage, MoEngage, CleverTap

Shopify, WordPress, or other CMS platforms (advantageous)
