GRP Pipe fFitter

Responsible for the fabrication, installation, and repair of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) piping systems as per project drawings, specifications, and standards. Must be skilled in interpreting ISO drawings and experienced in precise pipe fit-up and assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret ISO drawings, fabrication sketches, and installation layouts.
• Perform accurate pipe fit-up, alignment, and joint preparation.
• Understand and follow the pipe recipe (layup sequence, layers, resin mix, curing process, etc.).
• Carry out cutting, grinding, lamination, and assembly of GRP pipes and fittings.
• Ensure all joints meet required tolerances and quality standards.
• Conduct visual and hydro testing to confirm system integrity.
• Adhere to all safety and quality procedures on site.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Technical diploma or trade certificate in mechanical or piping discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in GRP/FRP pipe fitting and installation.
• Strong knowledge of ISO drawings and GRP fabrication procedures.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship.
