The Role

As a Guest Service Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Guest Service Officers to ensure seamless and efficient guest arrivals, buggy transportation, luggage handling, and departure services. This role ensures that all buggies are well-maintained and guest interactions are consistently professional, courteous, and aligned with the property’s service standards. The supervisor leads the team in delivering smooth check-in/check-out support and anticipates guest needs throughout their stay.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Please note that the responsibilities outlined below are not exhaustive. Red Sea Global Hospitality employees continuously innovate in caring for the needs of the business, their guests, and their colleagues. As a Guest Service Officer, you will need to:


Buggy Operations & Transport

  • Operate buggies safely and efficiently to transport guests and their belongings throughout the property.
  • Ensure timely pickup and drop-off services during guest arrivals, departures, and internal movements.
  • Monitor buggy schedules and be on standby to support front office operations as needed.
  • Conduct Villa Orientation and Resort Tour.

Buggy Cleanliness & Readiness

  • Inspect and clean all buggies daily to ensure high hygiene and appearance standards.
  • Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.
  • Ensure buggies are fully charged or fueled and parked appropriately when not in use

Luggage Handling & Assistance

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with their luggage upon arrival and departure.
  • Safely transport and deliver luggage to assigned rooms or storage areas.
  • Tag, record, and handle luggage accurately, ensuring no damage or mix-ups.
  • Maintain organized luggage storage and ensure smooth handling of early arrivals and late departures.

Guest Interaction & Check-in/Check-out Support

  • Support front desk during check-in and check-out by coordinating luggage movement.
  • Escort guests to their rooms and offer brief orientation when needed.
  • Offer assistance with directions and general inquiries in a friendly and professional manner..

Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
  • Flexible working hours including weekends and public holidays.
  • Standing, walking, lifting, and driving for extended periods.
  • Standing for extended periods during shift hours.

Guest Experience & Relationship Building

  • Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with guests to enhance their overall experience at the resort.
  • Handle VIP guests or special requests with a high level of attention to detail and care.
  • Maintain knowledge of resort amenities, services, and events to provide guests with information and recommendations.
  • Ensure that guests receive prompt responses to inquiries, offering them a personal touch that reinforces Red Sea Global Hospitality’s commitment to excellence.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure that all guest information is handled confidentially and in compliance with privacy and security policies.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and ensure the safety and security of guests and team members.
  • Report any issues related to guest safety, security, or well-being to the appropriate departments and management.
  • Adhere to all resort policies and procedures, ensuring team compliance and consistent service delivery.
