Gypsum carpenter

We are looking for a skilled Gypsum Carpenter to join our interior fit-out team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in installing and finishing gypsum board partitions, ceilings, wall panels, and decorative elements as per project drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and install gypsum boards, partitions, and ceilings accurately.
• Construct and fix framing systems using metal or wooden studs and channels.
• Carry out jointing, taping, and surface finishing to a high standard.
• Install decorative gypsum works such as cornices, moldings, and bulkheads.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and layouts.
• Ensure all installations are level, aligned, and meet quality standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades for smooth workflow.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain tools and materials properly.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of gypsum ceiling and partition systems.
• Ability to understand technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and finishing quality.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
