Duties

• Perform routine repairs and maintenance tasks across various areas, including plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general handyman duties
• Respond promptly to repair requests from clients or property managers, prioritizing urgent issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring safety and functionality
• Install fixtures, appliances, doors, windows, and other hardware as needed with precision and care
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
• Keep detailed records of work performed, parts used, and issues addressed for future reference
• Collaborate with clients or team members to plan maintenance schedules and execute projects efficiently

Experience

• Proven experience in general handyman work or related maintenance roles with a strong understanding of repair techniques across multiple trades
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, painting, and drywall repair is highly desirable
• Ability to read technical manuals or blueprints to accurately execute repairs or installations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting issues quickly and effectively
• Strong communication skills to clearly explain repairs or maintenance needs to clients or team members
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred for moving between sites as needed
