Our client The Bank of Punjab (BOP) is looking for a Head Cards & Digital Banking Operations in Lahore

Division, (Operations Group). The following job profile offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidates desirous of building a long-term career in a dynamic organization.

Location: Lahore

Job Responsibilities

:

  • Establish infrastructure for operational support to Cards (Issuing & Acquiring), branchless banking and digital segments/ fin-techs
  • Ensure provision of Operational support for system enhancements, migrations and technology upgrade
  • Support for launch and implementation of new business initiatives
  • Manage preparation and updating of operational manuals/ SOPs for relevant products & portfolios
  • Team building, employee engagement and contribution to create congenial environment at work place
  • Conflict management, grievance handling and resolution at work place
  • Overall operational support and management of key deliverables including:
  • Financial settlements and reconciliations with Payment Schemes for Credit Card – Issuing & Merchant Acquiring.
  • Credit Card customer’s payment execution and reconciliation.
  • Payment to BOP Merchant’s for international & domestic card utilization.
  • Financial (Item Processing) & non-financial (demographic) maintenance of credit card holders & merchants.
  • Credit Cards Mail Management Unit
  • Dispute Resolution – Domestic Switch & Payment Schemes.
  • Chargeback processing of International schemes VISA, MATER, UPI against foreign & domestic transactions (Credit Card Issuing & Merchant Acquiring).
  • Domestic Switch Reconciliation & Settlements – ATM, UBPS & Fin-techs.
  • Wallet registration & maintenance G2P beneficiaries of branchless banking.
  • Agent onboarding and maintenance for branchless banking.
  • Fund disbursements and cash-out to the G2P & Commercial Wallet beneficiaries.
  • Reconciliation of HO Account & designated accounts through CORONA and monitoring for resolution of exceptions.
  • Resolution of customer/ card-holder/ merchant complaints.
  • Periodic reporting to SBP, Payment Schemes & Finance/ external bodies.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s or equivalent degree from an HEC recognized local/foreign university.

Experience: Minimum 12 years of banking experience. Preference will be given to candidates having 8 years of relevant experience.

Age: Up to 55 years as of April 30, 2026.
