Head Chef

Job Title: Head Chef Location: Gulberg Greens, Islamabad.

Job Type: Full-time Experience Required: 3+ years (including cafe and restaurant kitchen management)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Chef with a strong background in managing café and restaurant kitchens. The ideal candidate should be proficient in preparing Desi, Chinese, and Continental cuisines, and must have experience with basic cooking courses/training. This role demands leadership, creativity, and a deep understanding of flavor profiles and kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and develop diverse menus including Desi, Chinese, and Continental dishes Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth daily operations Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation Manage food inventory, purchasing, and cost control Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and ensure adherence to standard recipes Implement safety and cleanliness protocols in accordance with health regulations Innovate and test new recipes to keep the menu fresh and appealing

Requirements: Proven experience (minimum 3 years) as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in both café and restaurant settings Expertise in cooking Desi, Chinese, and Continental cuisine Formal training in culinary arts or basic cooking courses Strong leadership and kitchen management skills Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively Excellent communication and team-building skills Preferred requirements: Experience in menu development and cost control Ability to train and guide staff in cooking techniques and kitchen operations
