Head Chef - Persian Cuisine

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

A popular, high-volume restaurant brand in Dubai is seeking to hire a Head Chef specialized in authentic Persian cuisine on a 6–7 month contract (extendable by mutual agreement).

Start Date: Immediate or within 2 weeks
Language Requirement: Arabic (mandatory), English preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the kitchen operations for a busy, large-cover Persian restaurant
  • Plan and execute authentic Persian menus (kebabs, polo, khoresh, appetizers, and desserts)
  • Supervise and guide the kitchen brigade; manage scheduling, training, and daily prep
  • Maintain high consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning
  • Uphold hygiene, food safety, and HACCP compliance
  • Collaborate with operations team to ensure timely service flow during peak hours
  • Innovate within Persian cuisine while respecting tradition, adding seasonal specials to elevate guest experience
  • Ensure guest satisfaction through quality, speed, and attention to detail

Requirements

  • Proven experience as Head Chef or Executive Chef in Persian / Middle Eastern cuisine
  • Expertise in charcoal grilling, kebabs, traditional stews, and rice specialties
  • Ability to manage high-pressure, large-cover operations
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills for a multicultural kitchen team
  • Arabic fluency is a must; English communication is valued
  • UAE / GCC experience strongly preferred

Package

  • Competitive salary package (details shared with shortlisted candidates)
  • Contract: 6–7 months, with possible extension
