General Responsibilities

Lead the university’s efforts in achieving and maintaining academic and institutional accreditations, ensuring alignment with national and international quality standards.

Oversee the design and implementation of institutional effectiveness frameworks that support continuous improvement across academic and administrative functions.

Act as the university’s primary liaison with accrediting agencies and regulatory bodies.

Promote a culture of quality assurance, evidence-based decision-making, and accountability throughout the institution.
Strategic Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive accreditation and institutional effectiveness strategy aligned with Creative & Arts University’s mission and Vision 2030 priorities.

Lead the preparation and submission of accreditation applications, self-studies, progress reports, and compliance documentation.

Establish and monitor university-wide KPIs related to academic quality, student success, and institutional performance.

Ensure integration of assessment practices into strategic planning, budgeting, and program development.

Support schools and departments in achieving program-level accreditations and fulfilling continuous improvement requirements.

Benchmark institutional performance against national and global standards in higher education and the cultural sector.

Advise university leadership on accreditation readiness, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Operational Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day activities related to accreditation cycles, including documentation collection, evidence compilation, and audit coordination.

Oversee the administration of institutional surveys, academic assessments, and data reporting cycles.

Coordinate site visits and communications with accrediting bodies and external reviewers.

Prepare internal reports on institutional performance, assessment outcomes, and action plan progress.
Industry Experience
-
10+ years
of experience in academic quality assurance, accreditation, or institutional planning within a higher education or cultural institution.

Proven success in leading accreditation processes at institutional and/or program levels.

Strong understanding of local and international accreditation frameworks (e.g., NCAAA, NQF, regional and global standards)..

Experience in academic assessment, institutional research, and strategic planning processes.
Management capabilities

Skilled in developing and managing quality assurance systems, performance indicators, and reporting tools.

Experience leading cross-departmental initiatives and working with academic and operational leaders.

Ability to design and implement institutional effectiveness plans with measurable impact.

Proficient in data analysis tools, dashboards, and accreditation software systems.
