Head of AI & Machine Learning

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Head of AI & Machine Learning to establish and lead our AI/ML team. This role requires a strong leader with deep technical expertise, proven experience in delivering AI-driven solutions, and the ability to align ML/AI initiatives with business objectives. The ideal candidate will manage the entire lifecycle of AI projects—from research and prototyping to deployment and scaling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AI/ML team in Lahore.
• Define and drive the company’s AI/ML strategy aligned with product and business goals.
• Lead research, design, and deployment of machine learning models, deep learning solutions, and AI-driven products.
• Oversee end-to-end AI project lifecycle: data collection, preprocessing, model development, training, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate AI solutions into core products.
• Stay ahead of emerging AI/ML trends, tools, and technologies to ensure innovation.
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of deployed AI systems.
• Manage stakeholder communication and provide strategic insights to leadership.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field (PhD preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing AI/ML teams.
• Proven track record of deploying ML/AI models into production environments at scale.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, generative AI, and LLMs.
• Proficiency in frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and programming languages like Python, R, or Java.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps pipelines.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to build and nurture a team, set priorities, and drive AI innovation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or cybersecurity products.
• Knowledge of big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop).
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance & data privacy in AI systems.
• Publications, patents, or contributions in AI research communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs400,000.00 - Rs700,000.00 per month
