Head of Application Development

Head of Software and Applications Section

Overall Objective: Supervise all processes related to developing and updating programs and applications to align them with the needs of various departments, implementing best practices in the field.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Network Security, or an equivalent in a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the same field for a Bachelor's degree holder.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in the same field for Master's degree holders.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in the same field for doctoral degree holders.

Specialized-General Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management, updating, and monitoring of databases, applications, and technical systems to ensure compliance with international standards.
• Track and ensure the smooth delivery of technical support for IT management systems and applications developed at the Center.
• Contribute to organizing training courses for internally developed applications, as well as reviewing the user manual and responding to department inquiries.
• Gather user requirements and prepare plans for transitioning from traditional to digital systems in workflow implementation.
• Coordinate with all relevant departments to determine their needs in terms of applications and technical software.
• Evaluate employees' performance, identify training needs, and prepare plans for professional development.
• Oversee the implementation of information security standards at all stages of software and applications development.
• Manage all stages of program and application implementation, whether implemented internally or by outsourced providers.
• Develop technical workflow strategies and procedures for the Section.
• Analyze software-related risks and develop plans to manage and mitigate effects.
• Perform any other duties within the scope of responsibility.
