A prestigious Miami‑based real estate developer with a long track record of delivering legacy‑defining projects is working Redpath Partners to recruit a Head of Construction. The firm is entering a new phase of growth, with several ground‑up high‑rise developments moving into active execution, and is seeking a thoughtful, execution‑driven leader to guide construction strategy and delivery.

The organization is known for creating some of Miami’s most recognizable and enduring properties, a reputation for design excellence, disciplined execution, and long‑term stewardship with a collaborative culture where development, design, and construction work in lockstep.

Role Overview

The Head of Construction will serve as the firm’s senior construction executive, partnering closely with the development team from pre‑construction through delivery. This leader will shape construction strategy, oversee project execution, and ensure that quality, schedule, and budget objectives are met across a growing portfolio of mid‑rise and high‑rise residential and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all construction operations across multiple ground‑up projects.
• Partner with development leadership on project planning, constructability, scheduling, and budgeting
• Oversee general contractors, consultants, and field teams to ensure disciplined execution.
• Establish and maintain best‑in‑class construction standards, processes, and reporting.
• Anticipate risks and proactively manage issues related to logistics, permitting, procurement, and trade coordination.
• Represent the firm with professionalism and discretion in all external interactions.

Candidate Profile

In order to be considered for this role, candidates MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Deep knowledge of the Miami construction landscape, including local trades, permitting pathways, and submarket dynamics.
• A proven track record of successfully delivering mid‑rise and high‑rise ground‑up projects in Miami or comparable Florida coastal markets.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team‑building skills.
• A thoughtful, solution-oriented approach to complex construction challenges.
• The ability to collaborate seamlessly with development, design, and ownership teams.
• The ability to work in the US and a home location that allows regular time in Miami.

Compensation

Attractive base + yearly and project bonus + benefits.
