Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Head of Department (HOD) to lead our Physics department at an educational institution in Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will manage curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental operations. The ideal candidate will guide instructional quality, oversee lesson design, and act as the key communication point between students, faculty, and administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Academic Leadership & Planning: Provide strategic direction for the Physics department. Lead curriculum enhancements and contribute to long-term academic development and innovation.
• Curriculum & Lesson Oversight: Supervise lesson planning, content creation, and assessment strategies for Physics. Maintain consistent academic standards through rigorous quality assurance practices.
• Faculty–Student–Management Liaison: Act as the central contact between Physics faculty, students, and the administrative team. Coordinate schedules and ensure effective collaboration.
• Monitor Teaching & Student Progress: Review teaching methods and analyze student performance data. Identify areas for instructional improvement and implement action plans to raise academic outcomes.
• Resource Management: Ensure Physics laboratories and instructional materials are up to date and meet academic requirements.

Requirements

• Education: Master’s degree in Physics (or a closely related field) is required.
• Experience: Strong teaching background and proven academic leadership experience in school or higher education settings.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Physics curriculum standards and modern assessment strategies.
• Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Urdu is required.

Location & Work Schedule

• Work Location: In person (Bahria Town Phase 7, Rawalpindi).
• Commute: Applicants must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
• Remote Work: Not available for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
