The HOD – Housing is responsible for the overall management and strategic oversight of labor camps and staff accommodations. This role ensures that all facilities are safe, compliant, well-maintained, and efficiently operated, while aligning with company standards and government regulations. The position oversees all labor camps, staff flats and company-owned buildings leading a team of supervisors and camp bosses to deliver high-quality accommodation services and worker welfare.

Key Responsibilities Labor_ Camp & Accommodation Management_

· Direct and control the housing function across labor camps and staff accommodations, ensuring effective occupancy planning and tenant management.

· Oversee the management of company-owned buildings

· Ensure timely procurement of Labor camps, rent renewals, and housing agreements.

· Implement policies and procedures for efficient camp operations, housing allocation, and compliance.

· Conduct regular inspections of facilities to monitor safety, hygiene, and living conditions.

Facility Operations & Maintenance

· Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are developed and adhered to across all camps and accommodations.

· Manage day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and emergency response.

· Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and technical teams for facility upkeep.

Welfare & Compliance

· Guarantee adherence to labor welfare standards, health & safety regulations, and Civil Defense/municipality approvals.

· Provide leadership in emergency situations (e.g., hospital cases, safety incidents).

· Drive initiatives to improve workers’ welfare and living conditions in camps.

Leadership & Team Management

· Lead, guide, and develop supervisors, camp bosses, and accommodation staff.

· Allocate responsibilities, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with company policies.

· Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and efficiency within the housing team.

Administrative & External Liaison

· Manage housing-related records, reports, and documentation.

· Liaise with government authorities for agreements, permits, and compliance requirements.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners (e.g., IREP JV) for accommodation services.

· Such other responsibilities as directed by the Manager / Management.

QUALIFICIATIONS :

· Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Administration, or related field (preferred).

· 10+ years of progressive experience in labor camp/staff housing management, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/HOD role.

· Strong knowledge of housing laws, GCC labor camp regulations, and welfare standards.

· Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale accommodations and multicultural teams.

· Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.

· Proficiency in MS Office and facility management systems.

· Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi/Telugu is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD600.000 - BD900.000 per month
