Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Leadership & Vision
- Define and implement the long-term event strategy aligned with company goals and client objectives.
- Position the company as a leader in creative and impactful event marketing within the industry.
- Introduce innovative event formats, technologies, and experiential concepts to stay ahead of market trends.
- Align the Event Management Department goals with marketing, branding, and revenue objectives.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Act as a senior advisor and main liaison for high-profile clients.
- Build strong relationships with client leadership teams, ensuring satisfaction and repeated businesses.
- Translate client objectives into tailored event strategies and experiences.
- Lead business pitches, proposals, and negotiations for major Event Management clients.
3. Business Development & Financial Oversight
- Drive revenue growth through acquisition of new clients and expansion of existing accounts.
- Oversee and approve large-scale event budgets, pricing models, and financial forecasts.
- Ensure profitability of the Event Management portfolio while maintaining creative excellence.
- Identify new revenue streams, partnerships, and sponsorship opportunities.
4. Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the Event Department team, including managers, coordinators, and on-site teams.
- Establish performance standards, KPIs, and professional development pathways.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability across the team.
- Ensure alignment and seamless collaboration with other departments.
5. Event Excellence & Risk Management
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of high-impact events, ensuring alignment with clients and company standards.
- Monitor key performance metrics (ROI, engagement, client satisfaction, etc.) across all events.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to compliance, safety, and operational execution.
- Guarantee scalability and quality of events execution across multiple concurrent projects.
6. Innovation & Market Positioning
- Stay abreast of new exhibitions, forums, conferences, and corporate events.
- Leverage data insights, pre- and post-event analysis to drive continuous improvement and acquisition of clients.
- Represent the company at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to enhance visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Events Management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale events for local and multinational brands.
- Strong expertise in budget management, vendor negotiations, and financial forecasting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Creative thinker with a business-oriented mindset.
