- Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to the executive team.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
- Manage cashflow strategies and banking relationships to optimize returns
- Evaluate and manage financial aspects of new projects, including feasibility studies and funding requirements.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and financial performance.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and standards.
- Oversee accounts payable, bookkeeping, and VAT filings.
- Stay updated with local and international accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, Corporate Tax).
- Conduct regular financial audits and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Lead, mentor, and guide team members, creating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Set performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.
- Collaborate with other department heads to support overall company goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Certificates such as CPA and CMA is a plus.
- Experience in Construction/Contracting is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with at least 6 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft excel, and dashboard presentation.
- Strong knowledge of local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
