Job Title: Head of Human Resources (HR)

Position Overview
Pakistan Children’s Heart Foundation is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources to lead and transform its HR function. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving the organization’s HR strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with healthcare industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and systems
  • Oversee talent acquisition, workforce planning, and succession management
  • Drive performance management frameworks, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
  • Ensure strict compliance with applicable labor laws, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies
  • Manage compensation structures, benefits administration, and payroll processes
  • Lead organizational development initiatives, including training and capacity building programs
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on all HR-related matters
  • Oversee employee relations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution mechanisms
  • Establish and monitor HR analytics, metrics, and reporting systems

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 10–12 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Mandatory: Proven and hands-on experience within the healthcare / hospital sector
  • Preference: Prior experience working with a non-profit organization / NGO will be considered an added advantage
  • Candidates without relevant healthcare / hospital experience will not be considered
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR strategy, policy development, and organizational transformation
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and healthcare compliance requirements
