Role Description:
The role is for an experienced and driven HR professional for a leading global bank, based in Karachi, Pakistan. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic and operational aspects of HR within the banking sector. The organisation is open to accomplished HR professionals from any industry who have prior experience in HR Operations and leading large organizations, as well as can demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards and company goals

Manage employee life cycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding

Support talent acquisition initiatives by liaising with hiring managers and conducting initial screening and assessments

Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and banking regulations

Assist in payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management

Participate in training and development planning, employee engagement activities, and internal communication efforts

Serve as a point of contact for employee queries and provide guidance on HR policies

Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during HR audits

Contribute to HR projects and process improvement initiatives as required
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in HR, preferably in large-scale organisations

Prior experience in working in HR Operations and Talent Acquisition

Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and banking sector compliance requirements

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
