The IT Manager is responsible for leading the planning, implementation, and maintenance of the organisation’s technology infrastructure and systems. This role oversees IT operations, manages a team of professionals and supports business objectives through effective use of technology.
Key Responsibilities

IT Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organisational goals.

Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption to improve efficiency.

Manage IT budgets, forecasts, and cost optimisation.

IT Infrastructure & Operations

Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networks.

Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems.

Manage data backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans.

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff to ensure high performance and skill growth.

Collaborate with external vendors, service providers, and consultants.

Negotiate and manage IT contracts, licenses, and service agreements.

Security & Compliance

Ensure compliance with data protection, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor system security, identify vulnerabilities, and implement solutions.

Establish IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

User Support & Training

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users across the organisation.

Drive user adoption of new systems and applications.

Conduct IT training sessions for employees as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

Progressive IT experience, including 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Experience with ERP systems

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
