Head of IT Operations

Job Summary

The Head of IT Operations is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and operational support to ensure stability, security, and efficiency. This role leads IT operations teams, manages service delivery, and aligns technology operations with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and oversee daily IT operations including infrastructure, networks, servers, systems, and end-user support
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT systems and services
• Develop and implement IT operational policies, procedures, and best practices
• Manage incident, problem, and change management processes
• Oversee IT service delivery and ensure SLAs are met
• Plan and manage IT budgets, vendors, and contracts
• Lead disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity planning
• Collaborate with other departments to align IT operations with business needs
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements
• Ensure compliance with data security, regulatory, and audit requirements
• Recruit, train, and mentor IT operations staff

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
• 8–12 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, and system administration
• Experience with ITIL frameworks, service management, and operational governance
• Proven leadership and team management skills

Pay: From Rs100,000.00 per month
