The Head of Marketing (Textiles) will lead the overall marketing strategy, brand positioning, and business development activities of the organization. The role requires a dynamic professional with extensive experience in the textile industry, capable of building new markets, strengthening customer relationships, and driving revenue growth by exploring local and international opportunities. The incumbent will also represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events to promote the company’s products and expand its global footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Lead business development activities including identifying new markets, channels, and clients.
- Represent the company at national and international exhibitions, trade shows, and buyer-seller meetings to showcase products and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding into untapped markets.
- Conduct regular competitor and market analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences.
- Oversee digital marketing, branding, and communication strategies to enhance the company’s visibility.
- Collaborate with product development and production teams to ensure customer needs and market demands are addressed.
- Drive sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular progress reports to management.
- Lead and mentor the marketing team to enhance skills, performance, and overall contribution.
- Negotiate contracts, finalize deals, and ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
- Ensure alignment of all marketing and business development activities with company’s long-term vision.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- 10–12 years of proven experience in marketing and business development within the textile industry.
- Strong track record of client acquisition and revenue growth.
- Hands-on experience in participating at and leveraging exhibitions/trade shows for business expansion.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Global market knowledge and willingness to travel extensively.
