RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing communication goes well beyond the development of marketing tools (i.e. catalogues, participation to events, etc…) but is thought as a strong, direct and measurable support to business growth. To that extent, true and direct customer driven initiatives (decision makers and influencers) are at the core of the deliverables, with quantifiable results.

Moreover, digital technology provides the opportunity to support the business efficiently globally and contribute to the strategic initiative of the Solar business to add digital value in our offer and to connect customers (both installers and end-users).


Practically, the job holder will:


  • Plan and Execute MarCom Programs and Communication Activities in line with country Brand and organic growth objectives as well as BU and Global Functions requirements.
  • Assess the MarCom Program effectiveness/ROI and adjust accordingly.
  • Assemble and localize communication assets by the Marcom mix for country deployment.
  • Provide transversal support and work collaboratively with other functions.
  • Contribute to the efficient generation of qualified sales leads.
  • Supported by or manage a team of operational of functional marcom experts.
  • Contribute to the marketing strategy with the perspective of marketing communication as a competitive advantage in growth initiatives. Also ensuring value proposition and differentiation are clear and proven.
  • Implement the organization's marketing communication strategy by managing a team of communication professionals who develop, execute and maintain communication campaigns and tools.
  • Allocate internal and external resources to ensure tools and campaigns are effective, economical and appropriate for their intended audience.
  • Liaise with managers across the organization to develop tools and campaigns that will help them achieve their goals; integrate with other campaigns; manage public relations; and align with the organization's overall marketing communication strategy (leverage existing tools in Schneider Electric).
  • Lead, direct, evaluate and develop a team of communication professionals to ensure the organization's communication strategy is implemented effectively and within established principles and budgets.
  • Develop and manage overall department budget. Track spending to ensure ROI of programs against objectives.
  • Work out and continuously enrich a practical and well documented marketing communication strategy and plan to develop a differentiating, competitive positioning and grow a profitable business



Required skills & knowledge for the position:

  • Experience in marketing communication in a given market with high complexity – players, business models, fast dynamics and uncertainty of the market,
  • Good experience with digital communication tools – partner relationship management, social networks, digital promotion and training tools,
  • University degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Industrial Engineering,
  • At least 10-year experience in Marketing and/or Communications,
  • Customer insights/Lead management/People Management,
  • Analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends,
  • Understanding of multi –culture markets with various business models,
  • PR knowledge & strong media relations,
  • Willing to work in a multifunction team and able to work with other global teams,
  • Excellent English writing & verbal communication skills
