Job Overview
We are looking for a Head of Marketing & Sales – Institutional / Projects to lead and expand our institutional and project sales business across government, PSU, and large private sector projects.
This is a senior leadership position requiring strong expertise in institutional sales, tendering, specification-based selling, and project execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Lead pan-India institutional and project sales strategy
- Strengthen JINDAL’s presence in infrastructure, housing, and commercial projects
- Define pricing, credit policies, and institutional channel strategies
Government & PSU Projects
- Handle projects related to Government, PSUs, Smart City, Jal Jeevan Mission, AMRUT, Housing Boards, CPWD, PWD, Railways, Defence & Municipal bodies
- Oversee tendering, EOI, pre-qualification, bidding, negotiations, and order closures
- Ensure compliance with technical specifications, approvals, and documentation
Private & Institutional Projects
- Build relationships with EPC contractors, builders, developers, architects & MEP consultants
- Achieve product approvals and specifications in residential, commercial, industrial & hospitality projects
- Drive bulk institutional orders for pipes, tanks, and sanitaryware
Team & Channel Management
- Lead and mentor institutional, project sales, and regional teams
- Coordinate with production, logistics, and accounts for smooth execution
- Monitor receivables, payment cycles, and risk exposure
Business Growth & Reporting
- Identify new project opportunities and long-term institutional accounts
- Track market trends, competitors, and upcoming tenders
- Prepare MIS reports, forecasts, and strategic updates for management
Required Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in institutional or project sales
- Experience in pipes, plumbing systems, sanitaryware, or building materials
- Strong exposure to government tenders, PSU projects & large private infrastructure projects
- Established network with government departments, consultants, EPC contractors & developers
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams and high-value projects
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and strategic planning skills
Education
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Technical understanding of plumbing or infrastructure products preferred
