The Head of Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall operational performance of the company, ensuring efficient branch operations, inventory management, sales growth, customer satisfaction, and compliance with company policies. The role will lead Branch Managers and Category Managers to achieve business objectives and maintain operational excellence across all locations.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Monitor and manage daily operations across all branches.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Analyze operational performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Branch Management:
- Supervise and support Branch Managers in achieving sales and operational targets.
- Monitor branch performance, productivity, and customer service standards.
- Conduct regular branch visits and operational audits.
- Ensure proper staffing and workforce planning across branches.
Category Management
- Lead and guide Category Managers in product planning, assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels and product availability.
- Monitor category performance and profitability.
- Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain stock availability.
Financial & Business Performance:
- Manage operational budgets and control costs.
- Review sales reports, KPIs, and financial performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement.
- Ensure achievement of company sales and profitability targets.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop Branch Managers and Category Managers.
- Establish performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Customer Experience:
- Ensure high standards of customer service across all branches.
- Address customer concerns and implement service improvement initiatives.
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in FMCG, Retail, or Operations Management.
- Proven experience managing multiple branches and large operational teams.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail/FMCG management systems.
