Head of Operations

Are you a seasoned operations leader with deep expertise in life & health insurance or health administration? We’re looking for a Head of Operations to drive excellence across underwriting, claims, provider management, reinsurance, and customer service functions, ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and a superior customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and execute the operational strategy, KPIs, and frameworks to support business growth and operational excellence.
• Oversee underwriting governance, claims management, provider networks, and technical operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
• Drive digital transformation, process optimisation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Mentor and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
• Collaborate with business channels and external partners to ensure operational readiness and seamless go-to-market support.

What We’re Looking For:

• 15+ years in operational leadership within insurance, health administration, or related sectors, with experience managing large portfolios.
• Deep knowledge of life & health products, underwriting, claims, and regulatory compliance in the UAE/GCC.
• Track record of leading digital transformation initiatives, implementing operational excellence frameworks, and driving measurable efficiency improvements.
• Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen.
• MBBS or equivalent preferred; specialization in Pediatrics is an asset. Advanced insurance certifications (ALMI, ACS, LOMA, or equivalent) highly valued.
