Job Description:

The Head of Operations is responsible for end-to-end operational performance across BluEVs field operations, product quality, after-sales, supply chain, and OEM alignment.

This role ensures that BluEV assets bikes, batteries, charging stations, and hardware operate reliably at scale, with high uptime and controlled costs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Leadership & Strategy:

• Build and lead the full operations organization: field operations, product operations, and supply chain.
• Translate company strategy into operational execution plans.
• Define operational standards, SOPs, and KPIs across all verticals.
• Drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and scalability for new cities and countries.
• Support COIO in cross-functional strategic planning and expansion readiness.
  
  
  

2. Field Operations Management:

(Over Field Operations Manager)

• Ensure network uptime, station reliability, and smooth asset circulation cycles.
• Monitor battery availability, swap station performance, and operational response times.
• Drive performance of field teams, dispatch, routing, and on-ground procedures.
• Implement real-time monitoring dashboards and operational control systems.
• Optimize manpower, processes, and operational cost per bike/asset.
  
  
  

3. Product Quality, Warranty & OEM Management:

(Over Product Operations Senior Manager)

• Oversee QC standards, root-cause analysis, and product performance improvements.
• Ensure accurate and timely management of warranty claims and feedback loops with OEMs.
• Manage all local OEM relationships for hardware, bikes, and integrated systems.
• Coordinate with engineering and product teams to ensure product alignment with operational needs.
• Ensure BluEV specifications and requirements are enforced with manufacturers.
  
  
  

4. Supply Chain & Inventory Management:

(Over Supply Chain Manager)

• Own procurement planning, inventory levels, spare parts availability, and forecasting.
• Optimize lead times, logistics flows, and supply continuity.
• Manage cost control across procurement, warehousing, and replenishment cycles.
• Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and lifecycle management of all assets.
• Establish reliable data-driven stock and parts management systems.
  
  
  

5. Cross-Functional Coordination:

• Ensure smooth information flow between verticals.
• Act as the operational point of contact for:
• Engineering & Product
• Hardware
• Finance
• Commercial
• Field teams
• OEM partners
  
• Participate in new product introduction projects.
• Support new market launches with operational capability planning and readiness.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 10+ years in operations leadership, ideally in EV, mobility, automotive, hardware, or logistics industries.
• Strong experience managing distributed field teams and technical operations.
• Knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and inventory systems.
• Experience with quality management and OEM relationships is a major asset.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage dashboards, KPIs, and operational data.
• Proven track record of scaling operations in fast-growing environments.
• Structured problem-solver; data-driven decision making.
