HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As Cartier's Head of Operations for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), you will manage the market’s end-to-end supply chain activities with the objective of enabling sustainable business growth while improving profitability. Leveraging your strong leadership skills, you will engage stakeholders and drive business performance.
In this role, you will evolve in complex, dynamic environments and excel at prioritization, time, and people management.
WHAT WILL BE YOUR MISSION?
As a key member of the KSA Exco, you will contribute to strategic vision of the market, ensuring these are achieved for the local operations in alignment with key market priorities, while considering the global Cartier supply chain context.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Cover The Following
Supply Chain Planning

Review the POS assortments monthly in collaboration with the market’s commercial and marketing teams to optimize stock availability, enhance brand image and representation and uncover potential sales opportunities.

Review the market’s sales forecasts quarterly with the local commercial team and with the regional supply team to update the market’s stock policy.

Monitor the Model Stock to ensure products replenishment and escalate alerts in case of issue.

Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock right-sizing across all local distribution channels.

Collect local qualitative feedback on novelties from the local marketing and commercial teams and coordinate with the regional supply team to define the market’s feedback on novelties.

Communicate the consensus results to relevant stakeholders to build consistent and efficient marketing and communication plans.

Monitor the replenishment of novelties and escalate alerts in case of issue.
Supply Chain Execution

Develop a close and trustworthy relationship with central logistics teams (RID VsG export team, RID Fastlog team, Group Logistics BPI, etc.) based on regular and constructive feedback.

Provide visibility on market activities requiring specific/tailored services from central logistics (events, high season, special orders/occasions, etc.).

Work on taskforce mode on all performance improvement related topics (lead time, quality, cost efficiency).

Collaborate closely with the head of local logistics to ensure timely importation and distribution in adherence to local customs, trade regulations, and compliance of KSA, co-jointly develop mitigation plans in case of business risks.

Provide visibility on market activities requiring specific/tailored services from local logistics (events, special orders/occasions, etc.).

Maximize client experience by bringing together local logistics and boutiques back of house teams. Understand each other’s constraints and develop a shared roadmap towards operational excellence, including all product categories and Care services.

Follow-up closely with the commercial teams on the local commercial performance across all distribution channels and each product category and suggest relevant areas to improve commercial performance while enhancing product representation and potential exploration.

Monitor the sell-through for novelties and provide feedback to local marketing and to regional supply team for better forecasting.

Partner with the retail teams to drive yearly cleaning of obsolete stocks.
Team management: People and leadership

Recruit and lead the local operations team by providing clear vision and strategy to achieve local business objectives and foster client centricity through operational excellence.

Ensure individual development plans are in place for key talents, as well as with a clear career path for each team member, developing our Cartier people engagement culture (leveraging internal engagement tools).

Drive change management across the team during key business changes.
Performance, Process Excellence & Project Management

Implement a local dashboard to pilot the local operations team for an optimal workload/capacity management.

Maintain and share the market supply chain KPIs dashboard with key stakeholders.

Promote and enforce a data-driven decision-making approach across all local teams.

Co-build with COP and the region the local operations portal, serving as repository for all processes and procedures.

Establish a roadmap to continuously improve the local operations performance locally across 4 key areas: speed, efficiency, quality and sustainability.

Position the market as pilot for key HQ/regional supply chain initiatives to benefit from enhancement/new services and proactively suggest relevant initiatives to region/HQ.

To Truly Thrive In This Role, You’ll Bring

A Master’s degree in supply chain or engineering

Minimum 12 to 15 years’ experience in Operations, Logistics, and Supply chain

Experience with SAP SD/LE/MM modules
-
You are proficient in Anaplan and Looker
-
A proven track record in leading teams and collaboration in a matrix set-up

Business Partner acumen paired with the drive to find solutions to challenges that may arise
-
Ability to prioritize and to separate noise from essential information
-
Impeccable communication skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
