Egypt Education Platform is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head of Primary to lead our Primary School from January 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping the educational experience of our youngest learners and managing the strategic direction of the Primary department in alignment with the school's vision and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the Primary curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of all students and supports their academic and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with teachers to foster innovative instructional strategies that promote engagement and effective learning.
  • Monitor student progress and outcomes, implementing interventions as necessary to support student achievement.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development opportunities for Primary staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Engage with parents and the community to build strong partnerships that support student learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development of school policies and practices, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Senior Leadership Team to drive school-wide initiatives and improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all educational regulations and standards, and uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field, with a teaching qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience and at least 2 years in a leadership role within a primary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of primary education pedagogy and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and nurture a positive school culture.
  • Proven track record of improving student outcomes and staff development.
  • Commitment to the principles of inclusion and diversity in education.
