Job Summary:

The Head of PR is responsible for shaping and managing the organization’s public image, reputation, and communication strategies, with a strong focus on financial and economic narratives. This role involves leading strategic PR initiatives, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels to stakeholders, investors, regulators, and the public.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies aligned with corporate objectives and financial communication goals.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson and media contact for financial and economic matters.
  • Advise senior leadership on reputation management, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with financial journalists, economic analysts, and key media outlets.
  • Oversee press releases, media kits, and thought leadership content related to financial performance, market trends, and economic outlook.
  • Manage investor communication in collaboration with Investor Relations and Finance teams.
  • Craft clear, accurate, and compelling messages on financial results, regulatory updates, and economic initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial disclosure regulations and industry standards.
  • Lead the development of speeches, op-eds, and executive interviews for financial topics.
  • Develop and implement crisis communication plans for financial or regulatory issues.
  • Monitor emerging risks and proactively manage reputational challenges.
  • Track PR campaign performance, media coverage, and sentiment analysis.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve communication effectiveness.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Economics, or Finance.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in PR, with at least 10 years in financial/economic communications.
  • Proven track record in managing high-profile financial PR campaigns and media relations.
  • Deep understanding of financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and economic trends.
  • Exceptional writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
