Head of QC and R&D

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of QC and R&D to lead the overall quality control and product development functions, ensuring all products meet internal standards and external regulations. The role is responsible for maintaining consistent product quality, driving innovation through R&D, and supporting cross-functional teams in product improvement and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead quality control operations, ensuring raw materials and finished goods comply with defined specifications and industry standards.
• Drive R&D initiatives for new product development and continuous improvement of existing formulations.
• Liaise with production, procurement, and technical teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement preventive actions.
• Oversee lab testing protocols, calibration, documentation, and reporting systems.
• Lead and mentor the QC & R&D teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Evaluate new raw materials, support cost-optimization efforts, and manage technical trials.

• Bachelor of Master’s degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering / Materials Science.
• 10–12 years of experience in Quality Control and/or R&D, preferably in construction chemicals or related industries.
• In-depth knowledge of testing standards (ASTM, EN, BS), chemical compatibility, and formulation chemistry.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
