Head of Real Estate Brokerage

Role Summary

The Head of Real Estate Brokerage is a senior leadership position responsible for directing and scaling the company's brokerage operations across the UAE. This role requires a proven, commercially driven leader with deep knowledge of the UAE property market and a demonstrated track record of managing high-performing teams of agents and brokers. The incumbent will be accountable for revenue performance, agent productivity, listings growth, regulatory compliance, and the overall strategic direction of the brokerage division.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Business Development

  • Define and execute the brokerage division's strategic plan in alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Identify and capitalise on market opportunities across residential, commercial, and off-plan segments in the UAE.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, landlords, institutional clients, and key industry stakeholders.
  • Drive revenue targets and monitor KPIs including listings volume, conversion rates, and gross commission income (GCI).
  • Represent the company at industry forums, RERA events, Cityscape, and other property exhibitions.

Team Management & Agent Development

  • Recruit, onboard, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of licensed real estate agents and senior brokers.
  • Set individual and team performance targets; conduct regular reviews and implement performance improvement plans where needed.
  • Design structured training programmes covering market knowledge, sales techniques, CRM usage, and compliance requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative, target-driven culture with clear career progression pathways.
  • Manage resource allocation, territory assignments, and specialist team structures (e.g. secondary market, primary/off-plan, leasing).

Listings & Inventory Management

  • Oversee the full listings pipeline from acquisition through to closure, ensuring quality, accuracy, and exclusivity where applicable.
  • Implement listing strategies to grow market share
  • Ensure timely and compliant listing publication across portals (Property Finder, Bayut, Dubizzle, company website).
  • Establish and enforce listing quality standards including photography, descriptions, and pricing accuracy.

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

  • Ensure full compliance with RERA, DLD, and all applicable UAE federal and emirate-level real estate regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Form A, Form B, Form I, Form F, and all transactional documentation requirements.
  • Oversee the renewal and maintenance of team RERA licenses and Broker Registration Cards (BRCs).
  • Liaise with DLD, RERA, and other regulatory bodies on behalf of the company as required.
  • Implement AML policies in alignment with UAE AML law as it pertains to real estate transactions.

Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee daily brokerage operations, pipeline management, and CRM data integrity.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports and forecasts to the executive leadership team.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop lead generation campaigns, digital strategies, and brand positioning.
  • Work closely with finance on commission structures, invoicing, and revenue recognition.
  • Lead the adoption of proptech tools and digital platforms to enhance team efficiency and client experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential

  • Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in real estate brokerage in the UAE, with at least 5 years in a team leadership or management capacity.
  • Active RERA-certified Broker Card issued by the Dubai Land Department (or equivalent in Abu Dhabi / other Emirates).
  • Demonstrable track record of managing and growing teams of 15+ agents/brokers.
  • Deep knowledge of UAE freehold markets, off-plan regulations, SPA procedures, and tenancy law (RERA Law No. 26 of 2007, Law No. 33 of 2008).
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue and listings targets in competitive market conditions.
  • Experience working with major UAE property portals and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho, Property Monitor, Propspace).

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience operating across multiple Emirates (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah).
  • Existing network of developer relations and institutional landlord contacts in the UAE market.
  • Familiarity with UAE Golden Visa property investment requirements and foreign ownership regulations.
  • Multilingual capabilities (Arabic, Russian, Chinese, or other languages are advantageous given the diverse client base).
