Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Marketing Head with proven expertise in driving large-scale sales growth and leading high-performing teams. The ideal candidate should bring a strong background in FMCG sales and marketing, with experience across both B2B and B2C channels. This role will focus on strategic sales leadership, innovative marketing initiatives, and execution of promotional activities to strengthen market presence and achieve ambitious business targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve revenue growth and market share objectives.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals to deliver high performance and accountability.
  • Drive sales across B2B and B2C segments, ensuring balanced growth in both channels.
  • Oversee brand-building initiatives, promotional campaigns, and innovative go-to-market strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and recommend strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers, key accounts, and strategic partners.
  • Ensure effective utilization of marketing budgets for trade promotions, ATL/BTL activities, and digital marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, product development, finance) for seamless business operations.
  • Establish robust reporting and forecasting systems to track performance against goals.
  • Drive customer insights, competitor benchmarking, and new market development initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • MBA/PG in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Sales & Marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong background in FMCG sales; experience in handling large geographies and diverse product portfolios is desirable.
  • Proven expertise in managing promotional activities, brand campaigns, and market activations.
  • Experience in leading sales across both B2B and B2C businesses.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into strategy.
