Head of Sales & Business Development

-Job Purpose

To lead sales activities in a way that driving significant revenue growth and market share for the company in Egypt, where this role encompasses developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, leading and expanding the direct sales force, overseeing the Professional Lead Generation Arm, and forging strategic business partnerships. This function will leverage an in-depth understanding of the Egyptian mortgage market, consumer finance, and direct sales methodologies to achieve aggressive sales targets and create the company’s unique selling point.


- Duties & Responsibilities

Ø Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement overarching sales strategies and annual sales plans to achieve and exceed challenging revenue, loan origination volume, and market share targets. Design and optimize the direct sales model, ensuring efficient client engagement, conversion, and superior customer experience. Establish clear sales processes, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to monitor performance, identify trends, and implement corrective actions swiftly & Drive sales excellence through effective pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM utilization.

Ø Team Leadership & Management (Direct Sales & Lead Generation): Lead, motivate, and manage the entire sales organization, including Mortgage Advisors (Account Executives) and the Professional Lead Generation Arm (SDRs/Lead Gen Specialists). Set ambitious but achievable individual and team sales targets and commission structures that align with business objectives and motivate high performance. Recruit, onboard, and continuously develop a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of achievement, collaboration, and customer centricity & providing ongoing coaching, training, and performance management to enhance sales skills, product knowledge, and market expertise.

Ø Business Development & Strategic Partnerships: Identify, forge, and nurture high-impact strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the Egyptian real estate ecosystem, including: Major Property Developers: Secure preferred lender agreements for their projects in new cities (e.g., NAC, New Cairo, El Alamein) and existing high-growth areas. Real Estate Agencies/Brokers: Establish formal referral programs and conduct joint marketing initiatives. Financial Advisors & Wealth Managers: Cultivate relationships for high-net-worth client referrals.

Corporate Clients: Develop programs to offer mortgage solutions to employees of large Egyptian companies.

And represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.

Ø Market Expansion & Product Launch Support: Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and geographical areas within Egypt for growth & lead the go-to-market strategy for new mortgage products and services.

Ø Customer Experience & Relationship Management: Ensure a seamless and positive customer journey from lead generation to loan closing and post-funding support. Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients, encouraging repeat business and referrals & Collaborate with Operations and Collections to ensure customer satisfaction throughout the loan lifecycle.

Ø Performance Analysis & Optimization: Leverage CRM and sales analytics to deeply understand sales performance, conversion funnels, and customer acquisition costs. Implement A/B testing and continuous process improvements to optimize lead generation, qualification, and sales conversion rates & provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to overall business planning.


- Job Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, sales, or a related field, with minimum experience of 7 Years in financial service.

- Extensive experience in direct sales models and managing large sales teams.

- Demonstrated success in establishing and managing strategic partnerships with real estate developers, brokers, and other relevant entities in Egypt.

- Deep understanding of the Egyptian mortgage market, consumer lending products, regulatory landscape (CBE, FRA), and local customer buying behaviors.

- Highly strategic thinker with a strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving results.

- Unwavering integrity, ethical conduct, and a strong commitment to corporate governance.

-Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market trends.

- Outstanding communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English.
