Job Summary

The Head of Supply Chain is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end supply chain function, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, vendor management, and distribution. The role ensures cost efficiency, timely availability of materials, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Oversee procurement, sourcing, and vendor management activities
  • Ensure cost optimization, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management
  • Manage logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution operations
  • Monitor demand planning, forecasting, and inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the supply chain team
  • Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate with finance, operations, and other departments for smooth business operations
  • Manage risks related to supply disruptions and develop contingency plans

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CIPS) preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, with leadership experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management abilities
  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain systems (ERP, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs500,000.00 per month
