The Head of Supply Chain & Fleet Operations is responsible to strategically lead the end-to-end supply chain and fleet functions—spanning planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and distribution—to deliver operational excellence, cost efficiency, and timely product delivery in alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities & Duties
Strategic Supply Chain & Logistics Planning

Develop and execute integrated supply chain and fleet strategies aligned with business growth.

Coordinate production planning with warehouse and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence.

Lead budgeting and resource planning across internal and external warehouses, fleet operations, and logistics.
Procurement & Material Management
-
Communicate raw material and packaging requirements based on demand and production forecasts.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock of finished goods and RM/PM across all warehouse locations.

Collaborate with procurement for supplier performance tracking, NCR management, and cost optimization.
Warehouse & Inventory Management

Manage internal and outsourced warehouse operations ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch.

Ensure layout optimization, compliance, safety standards, and preventive maintenance across facilities.

Support trials for new packaging materials and coordinate logistics for new product introductions.
Fleet & Distribution Operations

Oversee fleet operations including procurement, maintenance, routing, fuel management, and compliance.

Implement technology solutions for route optimization, fleet tracking, and cost control.

Ensure on-time delivery to customers and distribution points, and manage inter-warehouse transfers.
People & Compliance Management

Lead and develop supply chain and fleet teams; ensure adequate manpower deployment and training.

Implement and support health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to close audit non-conformities and regulatory gaps.

Act as an people partner for Supply Chain and Fleet teams, aligning people strategy with operational goals to drive productivity and capability building.

Lead the implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews, and individual development plans.

Identify skill gaps and collaborate with HR to deliver targeted training and upskilling programs across functions and levels.
-
Support succession planning by identifying high-potential talent and preparing development pathways to ensure business continuity.

Promote a high-performance culture through regular coaching, feedback, and recognition frameworks.

Collaborate with HR to address employee relations matters, foster engagement, and maintain a safe, compliant, and inclusive work environment.
Reporting & Budgeting

Prepare reports on supply chain KPIs, fleet performance, cost metrics, and supplier evaluations.

Forecast and manage supply chain and logistics budgets, including internal and external warehousing and fleet costs.

Propose and manage budgets for new initiatives and CAPEX related to logistics and warehouse infrastructure.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Analyze performance metrics (OTIF-On-Time in Full, inventory turns, fuel cost/km, etc.) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management, highlighting key trends, savings, and service levels.
Safety & HSSE

Enforce compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards in logistics and fleet operations.

Support HSSE initiatives and actively close non-conformances raised in audits.

Promote safety culture among team members and provide regular EHS briefings and support.
-
Monitor driver behavior across all distribution channels using the vehicle tracking tools.
-
Track and analyze the financial impact of driver-related discrepancies, including accidents, violations, and fuel misuse.

Implement a tiered disciplinary process for driver (all vehicle category) behavior non-conformance, categorized by channel (e.g., Retail, HoReCa, Modern Trade).
Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

Analyze operational data to identify process bottlenecks, drive cost optimization, and enhance service levels.

Lead initiatives for warehouse automation, plant layout improvement, and equipment efficiency.
-
Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for equipment servicing and process adaptation for new product launches.
Qualifications & Training

Bachelor's in a related field
