Position: Head of Workshop
Qualification: B.Sc. Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent / (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with equivalent Engineering/ Management degree/Application)
Experience: 10-12 years in Oil & Gas/relevant industrial segment (within 10 years, minimum 3 years in any workshop of Caterpillar/equivalent principles)Industry: Service
Location: Bangladesh
Responsibilities:-

Oversee daily workshop activities including repair, maintenance and Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, tools, and resources.

-Develop and implement maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.

-Coordinate with workshop teams for timely support.

-Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and CAT regulatory standards, monitor quality of work and implement continuous improvement practices.

-Supervise and train workshop staff, ensuring skill development and performance management. -Allocate tasks and monitor progress to meet deadlines.

-Control workshop expenses and reduce downtime costs-Prepare and present regular reports on workshop performance, maintenance activities, and cost analysis.

-Planning & development for existing workshop capacities & capabilities in line with the overall business objectives of the organization.

-Business targets in terms of volume, growth and contribution in revenue.

-Communication with external customers to know the nature of problems, previous work history, and their expectations for necessary solutions.

-Analysis of reports and submission to the Head of Workshop/Management as and when required, overall monitoring report for all related works.

-Visit customer sites for service and product support marketing.

-Assist the Head of Workshop and the Head of Service as and when required, and service operation for any service operational issues; submit reports as required to the Head of ERP & Service Coordination.

-Executes business strategies into financial/bottom-line impact through effective oversight and supervision of customer sites.

-Monitor all financial performance measures of the organization from the marketing perspective at various levels and take steps to improve the same.
