Position Overview


RIKAS Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced and service-driven Head Waiter to join our new festive dining concept. The Head Waiter will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, supervising service staff during operations, and ensuring smooth coordination between the floor and kitchen teams.


The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about hospitality, with strong leadership skills and experience in high-volume upscale dining environments.


Key Responsibilities


Guest Experience & Service

  • Deliver exceptional and personalized service to all guests.
  • Ensure guests are welcomed, seated, and attended to in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain strong menu knowledge, including food, beverages, and specials.
  • Anticipate guest needs and handle requests efficiently.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.


Floor Supervision

  • Support the management team in supervising daily floor operations.
  • Coordinate service flow between kitchen, bar, and service staff.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient service during busy operational periods.
  • Monitor table service standards, timing, and presentation.
  • Assist in organizing table allocations and reservations.


Team Leadership

  • Guide and support waiters and runners during service.
  • Assist with training new team members on service standards and operational procedures.
  • Ensure grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards are consistently maintained.
  • Motivate the team and contribute to a positive working environment.


Operational Responsibilities

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the restaurant floor and service stations.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure all operational standards and checklists are followed.
  • Coordinate with management regarding guest feedback and operational challenges.


Health & Safety

  • Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Dubai municipality regulations.


Requirements

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within upscale or high-volume restaurants.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and support a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.


Preferred Profile

  • Passionate about hospitality and guest engagement.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience within festive, lifestyle, or luxury dining concepts is preferred.
  • Energetic personality with attention to detail and service excellence.
