Health and Safety Officer / Engineer

1. Delegate responsibility and authority to HSE, security, medical and administration staff in order to effectively implement the site safety program.

2. Administration of the Project Specific HSE Plan; providing technical input for revisions to meet changing circumstances throughout all project phases.

3. Develop site hazard Operations / Project manager and the provision of technical advice when required.

4. Develop site safety awareness through the production of HSE inductions, site safety training, the toolbox talk and continuous improvement programs.

5. Effective implementation of site non-conformance, corrective action, and preventive action management processes

6. Produce regular HSE performance status reports including; incidents, achievement of HSE milestones and statistical analysis.

7. Develop project specific incident, emergency reporting and investigation systems that interface with client and Subcontractor systems.

8. Promote a high site safety profile through the publication of site safety campaigns, posters and a safety incentive scheme.

9. Advise operations management team to promote health and safety within the company & other stake holders as part of roles and responsibilities defined in company HSE management system and UAE Law.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Establishing workplace safety and health committees.

2. Knowledge of good safety practices.

3. Developing emergency procedures.

4. Ability to maintain effective work relationships with people from all social backgrounds.

5. Adherence to working instructions and procedures in accordance with the company’s Integrated Management System Policy.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for an office / factory /projects site environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED10,000.00 per month
