Safety Engineer

MZS is looking to hire an Safety Engineer to oversee and implement Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures on-site, ensuring compliance with UAE regulatory requirements, client specifications, and company standards. The HSE Engineer promotes a strong safety culture, conducts risk assessments and drives continuous improvement to maintain a safe and sustainable working environment across all project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement Project and Company HSE policies as per the approved Project Safety Plan.
• Conduct regular site safety inspection and walkarounds to identify potential hazards.
• Ensure adherence to all local health, safety, and environmental regulations. coordinating with relevant authorities for legal compliance.
• Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes, implement corrective and preventive measures and issue safety alerts with lesson learned.
• Ensure adequate provision, proper use and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Experience & Qualification:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in (Environ mental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Civil/ Mechanical Engineering, or related in position.
• Minimum Experience of 2-5 years of relevant experience in HSE roles within the construction, landscaping or infrastructure sectors (with UAE experience is advantage)
• With NEBOSH and SARS Certificates.
