JOB SUMMARY
Join the growing team at Hearts In Hands CPR & Services LLC as a Healthcare Marketing Intern and gain real-world experience in the expanding field of digital health communication and community-based outreach. This paid internship offers hands-on exposure to healthcare marketing strategies that support patient engagement, increase brand visibility, and strengthen outreach to families, clinics, and community partners.
The ideal candidate is a confident self-starter with strong communication skills, creative insight, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You will participate in developing innovative digital content, analyzing marketing performance, supporting community outreach initiatives, and contributing to meaningful health-based campaigns that advance respiratory care, CPR training awareness, and wellness education across Arizona.
Candidates must have reliable transportation for occasional local travel. Mileage reimbursement is available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Content & Social Media
- Create compelling content for websites, social media platforms, outreach materials, and email campaigns.
- Assist with managing social media campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and tracking performance metrics.
- Develop high-quality graphics and visual content using Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar tools.
Website & SEO Support
- Help maintain and update website content using WordPress or other CMS tools.
- Conduct keyword research and support SEO optimization to improve visibility and search rankings.
- Assist with content formatting, blog updates, and on-page optimization efforts.
Analytics, Research & Reporting
- Use Google Analytics or similar tools to measure campaign performance and user behavior.
- Support conversion optimization efforts to increase inquiries and service engagement.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic insights.
Advertising & Automation
- Assist in monitoring and optimizing paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads) including A/B testing and ROI evaluation.
- Support marketing automation workflows using platforms such as Mailchimp or HubSpot to help nurture leads and support patient communication efforts.
Community Outreach & Administrative Support
- Participate in community marketing initiatives, health events, and outreach activities as needed (mileage reimbursed).
- Assist with internal planning, project coordination, and brainstorming sessions.
- Represent Hearts In Hands with professionalism, confidence, and excellent interpersonal skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. OR
- Equivalent combination of education and five years of relevant experience in marketing, digital content, communications, or administrative roles.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles including SEO, social media strategy, content creation, and brand communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data from Google Analytics or similar tools to evaluate campaign performance.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects with minimal supervision; highly organized and proactive.
- Reliable personal transportation for occasional travel.
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- Experience with SEO tools such as SEMrush or Ahrefs.
- Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva).
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or SQL.
- Experience with Mailchimp, HubSpot, or other marketing automation systems.
- Prior exposure to healthcare, wellness, or community-based service settings.
Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
