Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices on site
- Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards
- Ensure immediate corrective actions are implemented for unsafe conditions and behaviors
- Monitor compliance with PPE requirements and safety regulations at all times
- Lead and support incident/accident investigations and prepare detailed reports
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site training for workers and subcontractors
- Review and support preparation of risk assessments, method statements, and permit-to-work systems
- Coordinate with project teams and contractors to maintain a safe working environment
- Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and safety performance data
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in an HSE role within construction or similar industries
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA (preferred or required)
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct safety training and influence safe behavior on site
- Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment
