Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs in alignment with legal and client requirements.
  • Prepare Risk Assessment and all relevant documents associated with the client/contractor.
  • Lead HSE risk assessments (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP, JSA) and ensure appropriate control measures are in place at site.
  • Monitor site operations to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and incident investigations; identify root causes and follow up on corrective/preventive actions.
  • Prepare and deliver HSE training and awareness programs for employees and subcontractors.
  • Provide expert advice to project and operations teams on HSE best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve work permits, method statements, and risk assessments.
  • Develop HSE plan, emergency response plans and lead periodic drills and exercises.
  • Analyze HSE data and prepare reports for management, clients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Mentor and guide other HSE officers, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional development.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and contractors regarding HSE matters.
  • Perform Internal Audit and external ISO audits
  • Prepare required SOP”s and KPI


Requirements:

Education, Qualifications & Language:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (from recognized University)
  • NEBOSH IGC - (Mandatory) , IOSH & ISO 45001 Lead Auditor


Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant HSE experience with enough knowledge in construction, MEP & firefighting.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE systems and driving a strong safety culture.
  • Experience in leading audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
