Health Safety Environment Officer

We are looking for passionate and committed HSE Officers to join our team for road and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi . The role requires professionals who can ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while maintaining high safety standards on-site.

About the Role

As an HSE Officer, you will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, monitoring site activities, conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and promoting a safe work culture. Candidates must have hands-on experience in road & infrastructure projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with UAE HSE regulations, OSHAD standards, and company safety policies.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Prepare safety reports, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Provide safety induction and toolbox talks to site staff and workers.
• Coordinate with project teams to maintain a safe working environment.
• Support ISO 45001 implementation and internal audits.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for client and authority requirements.

Requirements

• NEBOSH IGC (mandatory)
• 5–8 years’ site-based HSE experience (road & infrastructure preferred)
• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Engineering or HSE (preferred)
• ISO 45001 awareness / Internal Auditor certification (preferred)
• OSHAD / AD EHS Center OSH Practitioner Registration (highly preferred)
• Strong reporting & documentation skills; MS Office proficiency
• Excellent communication skills (English required, Arabic an advantage)
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
• Flexibility for night shifts/weekends if required
• Must be UAE-based & available for immediate joining
