Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced HSE Officer to support an ongoing oil and gas project in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing health, safety, and environmental standards on site, ensuring full compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and systems at the project site
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, ADNOC or equivalent oil and gas standards, and client requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Identify hazards and ensure effective control measures are in place
• Lead toolbox talks, safety inductions, and HSE training sessions for site personnel
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE compliance
• Maintain accurate HSE documentation, records, and reports
• Promote a strong safety culture across the project site
• Coordinate with project management and engineering teams on HSE matters
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in oil and gas projects
• Proven experience working on onshore or offshore oil and gas construction or operations projects
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and industry standards
• Relevant HSE certifications such as NEBOSH IGC or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Safety, or a related field
• Excellent communication and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently on site
• Currently based in the UAE
• Available to join immediately
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ADNOC, EPC contractors, or major oil and gas operators
• ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 knowledge
• First Aid and Fire Safety certifications
