Healthcare Litigation Attorney

Strong & Hanni is seeking an experienced attorney to join its Healthcare Law Group. Ideal candidates will have two to five years of experience in medical malpractice defense and/or health care litigation. Experience in health care regulatory and compliance matters is a plus. Candidates must possess superior research and writing skills, strong interpersonal skills, a strong interest in medical care and conditions, an understanding of medical records, a high degree of professionalism and a proven willingness to manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of litigation experience
• Must be licensed to practice in the State of Utah
• Trial experience preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Managing case deadlines
• Identifying and retaining necessary expert witnesses
• Preparing discovery requests and responses
• Defending and taking depositions of fact witnesses, medical providers, and expert witnesses
• Maintaining case file organization
• Strong attention to detail and precision
• Preparing pre-trial and dispositive motions
• Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a history of effectively working independently and delivering a consistent work product
