Heavy Vehicle Driver

Core Duties and Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation & Safety: Safely operating the bus, performing pre- and post-trip inspections (brakes, lights, oil), and conducting basic maintenance.
• Passenger Transport: Transporting staff, to and from scheduled locations on time.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, speed limits, and company policies, including safety protocols for boarding and disembarking.
• Passenger Care: Assisting passengers, particularly the elderly or disabled, with boarding, exiting, and managing luggage or personal items.
• Reporting & Administration: Maintaining daily mileage logs, reporting accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues immediately.
• Communication: Communicating with supervisors, or management regarding route changes, delays, or emergencies.
