What you will be doing…

As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support across all business units, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of IT systems. Your multifaceted role involves:

• Act as the primary point of contact for internal users seeking technical assistance via phone, email, or in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Log, track, and document all user issues and resolutions in our ticketing system.
• Escalate complex technical problems to appropriate IT team members or departments.
• Assist users with software installations, configurations, and updates.
• Provide onboarding support and training for new employees on IT systems and processes.
• Manage and maintain inventory of IT equipment and assist with asset management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve processes and enhance the user experience.
• Stay current with the latest technology trends and IT best practices.
• Maintain Active Directory, network file shares, and other key IT resources.

What we are looking for…

You will need to have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
• Proficiency in Windows, iOS, and Android operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise, Freshdesk, or similar).
• This role requires periodic travel to company facilities, including occasional domestic air travel.
• Physical Requirements: This role may require lifting and transporting IT equipment up to 50 lbs., extended periods of desk work, and occasional on-site visits across our facilities.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Associate degree in computer science or a related field.
• CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900),or other relevant certifications.
• Intermediate knowledge of Azure Active Directory and Office 365 admin center.
• Experience with endpoint management tools such as Microsoft Intune or SCCM.
